A souvenir that can freely move beyond its boundaries to suit everyone's taste

‏Because souvenirs are perceived differently from one to another, we made it open-source, with the power of the technology embedded in this cup holder, we were able to make it flexible, adaptable, and customized according to the users' needs. We proposed two scenarios as examples of what this technology is capable to do. it is limitless.

Why Karak, The social aspect :
The truth is that no matter what time of day or night you are out and about in Qatar, you will never miss a local tea shop because it will always be crowded with people looking for a Karak fix to start or end their day, or any time in between, because for the locals and expats in Qatar, any time is Karak tea time! 

Karak in Qatar is more than just a drink, it is a community, because the more important than the drink itself, is the social moments that happening around it. It brings people together. It binds them through their shared loved of Karak. It’s a staple at gatherings and a must-have drink when friends and family are together. 

Technologically oriented but culturally relevant :
Because souvenirs are preserved differently from person to another.. we made it open-source, with the power of the NFC technology that embedded in this cup holder, we were able to make it fixable, adaptable and customized according to the users need. We propose two possible scenarios as example for what this technology is capable to do ..
and because we are socially oriented in most of our researches the object have the power of making people meeting each others

1. NFC with a nearest Karak café around you :
By tapping the hand of the cup holder to your smart phone, it will open a webpage about karak , and give you a map to the nearest Karak shops around you.

2. NFC with a default email or text :
 What is matter more than the Karak itself,  is the memory that I want to remember. The togetherness . By tapping the hand of the cup holder to your smart phone, it will send a default text to your beloved person.
